Goddaughters

Not only did I become a mother this year, I also became a Godmother to two sweet little girls!!  Being a Godmother is such an honor and I am so excited to be a part of their lives and their spiritual journey.  A couple weeks ago we started that journey with Julia Kay's beautiful baptism.

Look at Julia waving at the camera!
Her first sacrament, I was so proud!  She was so so cute the whole time.  She was all smiley and giggly, she LOVES being Catholic.  Father Jimmy sang to her in Latin and she could not get enough.  He had just gotten back from a trip to the Holy Land where he celebrated mass at Mary's house.  He wore the blue stole in the picture during the mass and offered up his prayers for Julia and her baptism.  He gave it to her for the priest to wear when she gets married or when she takes her final vows.  It was very special!

That same weekend we got to meet our other goddaughter for the first time.  Little miss Clara Rose Felux.  She is so tiny and precious!

We had a wonderful time snuggling the little one and visiting with Diane, now mother of 4!  We can't wait until her baptism in December.

Seniors!

Our youngest siblings are all grown up.  Brie and John are almost half way through their senior years!  It's hard to believe that this is our last high school football season for a very long time!  We had the chance to go to both Brie and John's last regular season games.  Now they are both in the playoffs!!

GO TIGERS!!!

GO RANGERS!!!!!

We hope you two enjoy your last days of high school.  We are so proud of both you and are selfishly keeping our fingers crossed that you both end up here next year!  Cora is so lucky to have you.

Cora's 1st Halloween

Holidays are so much more fun with little ones around!!  We tried to make Cora's first Halloween full of special memories that she can look back on.  We started with a mega cute photo shoot with all of her Snoga cousins!

Her Grams and Pops bought her first pumpkin and we carved it as a family over at their house.  We gave it a bow so that it was her own personalized Cor-a-lantern.

She was not too sure about cleaning it out.  She kept fussing and then smiling.

Grams wanted her to practice crawling up the stairs.  She was very entertained!

She got to spend some time with her great grandparents.

And practiced crawling at M.E. and Abuelo's house.

Back in College Station, she had so much fun sitting on the porch handing out Halloween candy to all the other kids.

Our friends Katie and Damien came over to hang out it with us and we really enjoyed spending time with them!! These two cuties chewed on the candy wrappers and got to stay up late and play together!

I am so excited that we have started to make some AWESOME friends here!! We love hanging out with these two!!
