Fathers Day Weekend

What a wonderful weekend!  We kicked it off Friday night by heading to Panna Maria for Stephanie and Joel's wedding.  Cora was a bit fussy when we got to the rehearsal dinner.  She just wasn't feelin it, but it was so nice to see everyone again!  She wasn't much happier when it came to the wedding ceremony, luckily we had a bottle to give her, which of course lightened her mood. . .

The wedding was absolutely beautiful!! Stephanie and Joel are such a special couple.  We had been looking forward to their wedding, as well as Ryan and Erin's, for so long and now I am kind of sad that they are both over.  I am a such a sucker for a good Polish Panna Maria wedding.

The happy couple

My cousin, Josh. Adorable.

Cora spent most of the reception outside with Grams, Pops and Uncle Dave.  She was not a fan of the loud music inside!  I enjoyed getting to dance with my husband while she was taken care of

We drove all the way back to College Station after the wedding.  It has been tough making all these long road trips every weekend, but thankfully Cora usually sleeps the whole way and it gives Michael and I time to have hours of uninterrupted conversation, which I love.

This morning we got to sleep in (even cora!!!!!) so the late night drive was well worth it.  And now we are enjoying a relaxing Fathers Day at home! Usually Michael is the one who does the pampering on a daily basis around here, so it is fun to turn the tables and give him the star treatment that he SO deserves.  As I have said before, Cora's favorite thing to do is dance with her daddy, so she wanted to set up a surprise daddy/daughter dance for the two of them in the living room. . .

It was a success, he loved it! On the agenda for tonight, fried chicken and Aggie baseball. Happy Fathers Day everyone!
