Snoga Beach Trip and Cheer Camp

This was our 4th and final beach trip of the summer.  Even with the threat of a hurricane (which ended up being nothing but some normal wind and rain) we headed back down to Port Aransas.  It was so relaxing and wonderful to spend time with our family.  We love being in College Station, but we really don't get to see our family as much as we used to, and it felt so good to get to be around everyone again. (And thank you so much to Casey for letting me borrow all of your fabulous pictures!)

This time, Cora, who is now a regular beach bum, headed out a little further into the water.  She loved digging her little toes in the sand.  Brave girl . . .

This picture is so funny because she is making what has become a "classic" Cora face.  She is a big fan of sucking on her bottom lip.

As usual, she had a great time with Grams and Pops!  Again with the lip . . .

Playing with Joe Joe . . .

I love to watch Joe and Casey with Cora.  They are always trying to make her laugh and are very good at it!  They always end up making us laugh too with their impromptu free style raps and personalized Cora lyrics to all melodies. . .

Cora also enjoyed some snuggle time with her great grandparents, who are still baby-crazed.  Memaw always tells me that she would have had a dozen babies if she could have, so sweet!

Memaw and Geda with Cora and Ella.  Ella was loving having Cora around this time.  She kept saying "baby" and smiling at her. So precious . . .

We had another treat the Monday after we got home from the beach.  Brie was at cheer camp here in town so we got to watch her perform.  They did so great and won lots of awards!  I can't believe that she is already a senior!! (sniff sniff)

Brie and her friends, Madeline and Jake, were asked to come back and try out for UCA staff!  Very impressive!

So proud of her!

Can't wait for football season to start!
